Amazon is adding a prescription drug service called RxPass where Prime members will pay $5/month to fill all their prescriptions that they need from a list of 50 generic medications.
RxPass does not use insurance but those who have government funded Medicaid or Medicare coverage will not be eligible. The program will be available in 42 states along with Washington D.C. This honestly sounds like a great idea and if you are not a Prime user, there is another option that has been available by Mark Cuban called CostPlus Drug Co. where they sell more generic drugs where many are under $5. What do you think of this new service option to get prescription drugs? For more information, click here.
