Gwyneth Paltrow and Brad Falchuk tied the knot back in September 2018 in a gorgeous home ceremony. The 46-year-old actress made a surprising confession about her relationship with hew new husband in a new interview with The Sunday Times. Despite being married for almost a full year already, Paltrow and Falchuk do not live together.
According to the Goop mogul, she only spends four nights a week with Falchuk. They both live in Los Angeles, however, they own separate homes. Falchuk only stays with Paltrow when his two children from a previous marriage are not with him. “Oh, all my married friends say that the way we live sounds ideal and we shouldn’t change a thing,” she said.
Paltrow also cites advice from her intimacy teacher as part of her decision to keep this living arrangement going long term. She says living apart creates a "polarity" in her marriage that's appealing to her.
The Spider-Man: Homecoming star also opened up about her relationship with ex-husband Chris Martin, as well as his girlfriend Dakota Johnson, in the same interview. Though Martin doesn't live with Paltrow full-time, either, he does have a dedicated room in her home in order to easily spend time with their two children when he's in Los Angeles. Martin even joined Paltrow and Falchuk on their honeymoon to the Maldives back in January. Their children tagged along, as well. “Chris is family and Brad and he, they’re like, totally friends,” Paltrow told the Sunday Times.
As for Johnson? “I adore her,” Paltrow said. “[She’s] a fantastic woman.” The two actresses have even been spotted spending time together without Martin recently. A source told People that Gwyneth is "very much in love with her husband and loves sharing time with everyone she considers part of her family. At this point that very much includes Dakota.”
