Liam Payne Announces 'The LP Show' Livestream Concert Series

Liam Payne is launching his own livestream series!

The former One Direction member primed fans for his latest endeavor with the announcement of his new livestream show, titled The LP Show. Payne broke the news on Wednesday (July 8), revealing that the first installment of his virtual experience will kick off next week.

“I’ve been working on this for a while now and I’m so excited to announce Act 1 of ‘The LP Show’, broadcasting in real time on Friday 17th July 🙌🏼 It’s a new approach to a live-streamed show like you've never seen before, exclusively,” Payne shared on Twitter. “To produce the show, I’m working with currently out-of-use venues, a full band, as well as professional sound and lighting engineers currently out of work due to COVID-19 and I can’t wait to bring you the first in this series of live broadcasts.”

Per the press release, tickets to Payne’s livestream special start at $10 and will be available on a “pay as you want” basis through Veeps on Friday (July 10).

A portion of the ticket proceeds will benefit a donation to The Trussell Trust, a nonprofit with a mission to end hunger and poverty by supporting food banks in the UK. There will also be ‘The LP Show’ merch available in select packages, which will be listed on Payne’s website.

As fans know, the announcement comes seven months after the 26-year-old crooner unveiled his debut studio album, LP1, in December 2019. The 10-track effort includes several jams like “Strip That Down,” “Get Low,” Bedroom Floor” “Stack It Up” featuring A Boogie wit da Hoodie and “Live Forever” with Cheat Codes.
