Lance Bass Gushes Over Possible *NSYNC & Ariana Grande Collaboration

2019 Coachella Valley Music And Arts Festival - Weekend 1 - Day 3

Lance Bass really wants to work with Ariana Grande again.

The crooner is still on a high after he and his *NSYNC bandmates — JC Chasez, Chris Kirkpatrick, and Joey Fatone — performed with "The Light Is Coming" singer at Coachella in April — despite an obviously absent Justin Timberlake. Grande brought the members out on-stage to sing the boy band's 1997 smash "Tearin' Up My Heart," and now, Bass has his fingers crossed in hopes for a potential collaboration.

“We have no plans (to collaborate) but that would be incredible,” he told Page Six. “Hey, if she wants to, I’m sure we’d be open to it.”

In speaking of the special reunion, Bass said: “It was just nice to be back on stage with those guys. That’s what I live for, you know, being able to perform with those guys, and it was an incredible feeling. I didn’t know if we would ever be able to do it again.”

Despite not having performed the song's choreography in a while, the 40-year-old said learning the moves again was "like riding a bike" — "it was so easy," Bass admitted.

“(Ariana) wanted to do the original choreography (to Tearin' Up My Heart) which we changed in 1998 so we thought it would be a little difficult to get it back but it only took us about an hour to learn the whole thing so it was nice," Bass added, quipping, “I can say I’m a much better dancer these days than I was in *NSYNC."
