Many fans of hip-hop that have prevailed through decades of the music's cultural changes, inevitably are curious about the personal stories of some of the genre's most prevalent and respected acts.
Nas, is no doubt, one of the most respected artists in the game, having gotten the 'better' of Jay-Z during a lyrical feud in the 90's, and remains to this day, one of the only artists who has that title.
Netflix premieres their new docu-series "RAPTURE" on March 30th, which follows the lives of some of the biggest hip-hop acts today. Artists such as T.I., Rapsody, 2 Chainz, A Boogie with the Hoodie, Logic, G-Eazy and more are just a few names that share their most intimate stories for the special.
At SXSW, we were able to sit down with two stars; Rapsody & Dave East to find out more about their stories and what they think of the state of rap today.
